Our Terms and Conditions

Our Teams and conditions and the Booking Process:

To secure your trip with Robins Tours and Travel, please visit our website or email us at info@robinstoursandtravel.com to initiate the booking process. Alternatively, you can request an offline application form via email. Each traveler is required to complete and return the booking form provided.

Upon receipt of the completed booking form, we will confirm the availability of your chosen arrangement. Your booking is considered a binding contract between us upon confirmation.

Special Requests:

Prior to confirming your safari, please inform us of any special requirements or requests, such as dietary needs, medical conditions, or disabilities. While we endeavor to accommodate all requests, please note that certain activities, such as gorilla and chimpanzee trekking, may have specific limitations and requirements.

Our Tems and Conditions on Payments:

As per to our terms and conditions, to confirm your booking, a non-refundable down payment of 30%. And this is of the total trip cost per person is required. This includes payment for gorilla permits, which necessitate full advance payment to secure the reservation. The remaining balance is due no later than six weeks prior to departure, unless otherwise agreed.

Bookings made within 42 days of arrival are fully paid at the time of confirmation. Failure to adhere to the payment terms may result in the cancellation of your booking.

Accepted methods of payment include VISA credit card, bank transfer, or cash to our designated dollar account in Uganda. All transaction fees are the responsibility of the client.

Inclusions:

Our trip prices cover ground transportation, accommodation bookings, experienced safari guides, entry fees to all parks mentioned in the itinerary, gorilla/chimpanzee permits, and other services provided in collaboration with our trusted partners.

Tour Policies

Tour Experience:

While every effort is made to ensure an enriching safari experience, wildlife sightings during game drives or trekking activities aren’t guaranteed. And this is because animals are in their natural habitats. Participants are advised to remain vigilant and respectful of wildlife and their surroundings.

Vehicle and Guide:

Our vehicles are regularly maintained for optimal performance. However, we’re not held liable for issues arising from poor road conditions beyond our control. Decisions made by our experienced English-speaking guides/drivers regarding the route and other matters during the trip are final.

Our terms and conditions on Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Cancellation by Us:

In the unlikely event that we need to cancel a confirmed booking, we will endeavor to offer you an alternative holiday of similar standard if available. If the alternative holiday is less expensive, we will refund the difference. And if it is more expensive, you are required to pay the difference. Alternatively, you are entitled to a full refund of all monies paid to us. However excluding gorilla and chimpanzee permits, which are non-refundable once issued.

Cancellation by You:

Cancellation of a booking is communicated to us in writing or via email as soon as possible. The following cancellation charges apply:

60 days or more prior to arrival: 25%

59-32 days prior to arrival: 35%

31-8 days prior to arrival: 65%

7 days prior to arrival: 75%

6-0 days prior to arrival: 100%

Note:

Gorilla permits and air tickets are excluded from the cancellation percentages and are 100% non-refundable. No refunds are made for unused services, late arrival, or failure of any member to join the trip.
